Date Night
We do like the sushi, though I am not as adventurous as my husband. Nothing raw for me. After a hard day of building our real estate empire (for him) and spending all of our money (for me), we would meet up for a quick bite at White Lotus in Hollywood.
Citysearch has this to say about White Lotus:

I know you are probably wondering what I would be wearing. Well, I think it would be something casual, I mean I just spent the day shopping, right? But, since I'd be meeting the husband for dinner, I'd want to be wearing something a bit nicer, like this Roberto Cavalli outfit I saw online at Bergdorf's. It's on sale now, but I imagine I would have bought it earlier in the season when it was not. I'd still be the same person, though, just richer. And I imagine that I still would not consider wearing heels all day out and about. I think flat gold sandals from Michael Kors will do nicely.
From Bergie's web site:
Liabilities:
Dinner = $296
Halter top = $920 ($322 on sale)
Jeans = $2900 ($1015 on sale)
Sandals = $195
These items = $4311
Total = $44,054,574

The Scene
Beyond soaring white tents and clipboard-toting bouncers lies this dining oasis. Green leafy plants, burbling fountains and massive Buddha statues create a Japanese-garden atmosphere on the covered patio. Inside, colorful wooden menus and blond wicker chairs make for a light and airy vibe. As the evening progresses, industry types and wannabes overflow from the dining room and clamor for entry into the adjoining nightclub.
The Food
A comprehensive sushi list is offered, but exploring the full menu will reap rewards. Starters are consistently strong; of particular note are the delightfully well-balanced Dynamite scallops and uni binsois, a vichyssois-esque cold soup. For a main course, both the Thai coconut bouillabaisse and the fennel-seasoned duck leg confit will not fail to impress, and meat eaters will appreciate the expertly prepared New York steak. If you have room for dessert, the banana-coconut spring rolls are worth sharing--but the grainy, sweet pumpkin pudding is a definite pass.
