Past, Present, Future

Ah, the three-stone anniversary ring, representing our past (getting by), our present (doing well), and our future (filthy, stinking rich). If I were obscenely rich, I wouldn't want to upgrade my current weddings rings. My engagement ring has a small, flawless, colorless diamond in a platinum tension setting. My wedding ring is a plain, platinum band. Simple and modern.

No, I would keep my current wedding rings, but I would want something for my right hand and I would want something GIANT. I am talking something like 15 carats. However, I think I would need a transitional ring. Something like this one: 4.5 carats total weight of flawless, colorless diamonds in a platinum trellis setting.

I don't usually wear a lot of jewelry - right now I only have on my wedding rings and I am not sure where my earrings got to - but I think that once I had this anniversary band, it would open the floodgates. I'd be one of those ladies who visits her jewelry in the bank vault.
